I'm scared; I'm scared for my classmates’ future.  Their inability to produce semi-proper English sentences has simple blown me away.  It’s amazing to me at how weak any care has become.  I hope that this new language is only for Facebook and they are able to switch back and forth.


I know that it’s not my place to express this, but I really hope that society does not slip anymore than it currently has.  Our government leaders are resorting to these short codes.  It may be because of the increasing popularity of shorter messaging services (Twitter, SMS).  How hard can it be to fit a BASIC or general message in?  If your messages are going over 140 characters then maybe you are including too much information.


Maybe it’s not my place but typing something seems to help, if only at times.
